With assistance from the Illinois Green Business Asociation, That's Rentertainment continues to implement as many energy saving, waste reducing and environmentally friendly practices as possible.

Some of what we do to encourage sustainability in That's Rentertainment:
• Re-use and/or recycle everything possible
• Use only fluorescent and compact fluorescent lighting
• Use a web-based programable thermostat with temperature setbacks for the hours we are closed
• Turn off all equipment when not in use

Some of what we do to encourage sustainability in our community:
• Promote bicycling as a mode of commuting through support of Champaign County Bikes, The Bike Project, Prairie Cycle Club, and both state and national bike advocacy groups.
• Stock basic commuting supplies in our Itty Bitty Bike Shop (located in the front of Rentertainment).
• Support like minded groups (University YMCA and Champaign County Bikes) both financially and through serving on their boards.
• Promote "shopping locally" with regular mentions of local businesses in our weekly e-newsletter and listing of local businesses on our web site.
• For people interested in learnng more, we stock over 100 titles in our Environmental & Social Issues section.
