That's Rentertainment's Pocket Pal - Kid Shananigan Films |
Here is a list of as many Kid Shananigan Films as I could come up with. I can't find anyone online who has given a better genre name to this kind of comedy so, for now, we'll stick with the shananigan theme. I've come up with three types of movies that can be included here:
1) Kid camp movies like "Heavyweights" or "Camp Nowhere" starring a cast of type-cast kids and a few quirky camp councilors.
2) Sports kid movies like "The Mighty Ducks" trilogy and "Bad News Bears", and then
3) Kid adventure movies, which are different because they don't generally involve the interaction of the kids and an adult chaperone of some kind, like Goonies or the Sandlot, but still have plots that are dependent on the kid's personalities. |
