On October 17th we headed about 15 minutes outside of Colmar to visit Kaysersberg -- home of Roger Hassenforder's restaurant. Roger was a famous bicycle racer in the early 50s. He even won a stage in the 1953 Tour de France. I was hoping for a bit more cycling memorabilia in the place but the stack of meat on the mountain of sauerkraut more than made up for it. It's also a very cute little town.
