On October 12th we walked next door to our hosts house for a "simple" risotto dinner. After admiring their beautiful house (built in 1569 and restored by them 20 years ago) we settled in for the most amazing meal of the trip. We started with Champagne in the living room. Then we stepped over to the living room and ate Pumpkin soup, followed by Risotto, then fromage and closed with dessert (macaroon and cream tart). This will always be remembered as my favorite meal in France.
