On October 10th we drove to Entrechaux to eat at L'Ancienne Poste, a restaurant recommended by Chris Gutowski, a family friend and bicycling buddy of my brother's (and resident of Malaucene). When we got there it was closed (we will try again on Friday with my brother and his girlfriend, Cal) but there was another restaurant, Restaurant Saint Hubert, that was open so we ate there instead. The restaurant had a hunting lodge thing going (complete with deer heads on the walls and a fire in the fireplace) and offered a lot of game type items on the menu. They offered three prix fix menus (e24.00, e34.00 and e48.00) all of which included four courses. We chose from the first two menus and were not disappointed.
